Hello. I have a question about a particular pattern in the Weekend Knitting: 50 Unique Projects and Ideas (Melanie Falick, Erika McConnell)
book.
For the lace camilosole and pull-off cowl, it suggest the use of Rowan Kidsilk Haze and Cotton Perle. I guess what I was wondering (I’m sorry if this is really obvious, I’m a new knitter… :oops: ) but I can’t figure out from the pattern when to use which yarn. Does it require using both together? :??

I haven’t knit this pattern, but I can see why you’re confused! I don’t see when it says what yarn to use either. But I read through the pattern and judging by the yardage requirements, 3 sks of Cotton Perle @ 27 yds = 81 yds total, I think the Cotton Perle is just for the crocheted edges. If you look closely at the pics, you’ll see they look different from the main part of the fabric.
