Putting in a zipper

Hi,

I am a new member, but need help now :slight_smile: I have just finished knitting a cabled cardigan for my grandson, however, I have to finish it by putting in a zipper. I have never put a zipper in a knitted item before and don’t know how to go about doing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
