Purple Cardigan and Squares

I am now on the first sleeve of my purple cardigan project. I hope I get the cuffs right - waste yarn is involved. The good thing about the sleeves is that they are not full length, so there is no increasing.

I also decided to knit a sample stitch square - a knitting magazine I get from time to time gives pattern for 3 different ones each month. The idea is to stitch several together to make a blanket, but not sure I’ll actually do that. I’m still on the first one, which is a twisted rib stitch. It was hard going for the first 2 rows or so, but it’s getting easier now.
