Purlwise increase help!

Hello! :tulip: I’m a total beginner. I am knitting my first cardigan and I’m stuck on the sleeves. I have casted on 15 stitches, worked rows 1 to 4 in 1x1 rib stitch (all is well) but now I am up to Row 5 (all outlined in attached photo) and I don’t know how I am meant to reach 27 total stitches. I am only reaching 21. Am I doing something wrong? PS: I am making the Medium size.

Thank you in advance for any help! xx

Maybe this pattern?

You can check with the begining of the pattern where the designer may have listed the stitches to be used in the pattern. One simple way to work this increase row is to use a M1 increase.
Before you work the row there are 2sts before the repeat, one stitch in brackets worked 11times and 2sts after the bracket (15sts).
Work the 2sts then a M1 purlwise. For the brackets, [k1, M1purlwise] then repeat this sequence 10 more times: [k1, M1purlwise] ,[k1, M1purlwise] etc.
Then work the 2sts after the brackets. 3+22+2=27sts

Here’s a video for the M1purlwise which uses the yarn strand between sts for the increase.
