Hi, I’m a new knitter and on my second project, a sweater. I just started a row and realized after a few stitches that I purled instead of knitting the row like I should have. Is there any way to go back and redo those stitches? I’m bummed.
Frog it would probably be easiest. Or “un-knit” it if it’s a yarn that’s hard to pick up or likes to slip.
If it’s just a few errant stitches you could keep working until you get above them and fix them with a crochet hook (demonstration of that is on the video page).
tinking!! (unknitting) would be my choice, especially if it is only a few stitches and you are still ont he same row. instructions can be seen here , it is very easy and a lifesaver!
You can un-knit like the others say. To do that put your left needle into the LOOP/STITCH that your yarn is coming from. To do that just tug on the yarn that your using. That will show you which loop to go into.
Thats the fastest way. Unraveling can take a while. If it’s just a few stitches unkniting is the best.
I’m the opposite. I’ll unknit whole rows because that’s where I’ll have stitches dropped. If it’s just a few I’ll frog because they’ll be picked up quick enough that I won’t lose any.
