Purl back and front of same st

What the heck am I doing worng?

:eyes:

When you purl into the back of the stitch, you have to bring your right needle around and insert it from left to right into the back loop.

I think if you check the glossary videos, you can find purling into the back loop if you need a visual.

I’m going to the LYS in a bit and will practice then, but where is the video in case I get lost when I get home?

Thanks!

Here is the link to the ptbl video. When you do the front and back, purl tbl and then purl through the front loop as normal.

but I guess that shouldn’t make any difference since I’m just adding a stitch, right?

I’ll give a shot later.

Thanks!
