Psso

Hi. I’m working a drops pattern called blue breeze. I’ve just completed the first chart which calls for a psso. I’m still kinda new to knitting. The pattern key says the symbol stands for slip 1stitch as if to knit, k1, psso. I did as follows slip 1 as if to knit, knit 1 , then I pulled the slipped stitch over. My question is this. I’ve just watched a video on psso and she says that you knit 2 together then pull the slip stitch. My stitch count came out correct so I think I did it correct but as I’ve researched the psso I keep seeing it as a k2tog. Did I make a mistake?
Thank you for the help.

Hi Felecia,

The sl1,k1, psso decreases by 1 stitch. Sl1,k2tog,psso decreases 2 stitches. Follow what your pattern says to do to make sure everything turns out correctly. The video was just using the double decrease to illustrate the psso.

HTH, and welcome!

Thanks Charlotte, just didn’t want to go ahead until I knew for sure.
