Psso?

I was hoping the glossary would have a video, but it doesn’t and I don’t get it. It says

psso: pass the slipped stitch over (as in slip 1, knit 1, psso)

What in the world. Ok so it follows after a slip and so I do something with the slipped. I take the slip from left to right needle then I knit one left to right needle then I do what with the slip? Put it back on the left needle (slip it backwards??) over the knitted??

The slipped st is the second st from the tip of your right ndl, the K st is at the end (to the left of the slipped st). Using the left ndl, lift the slipped st over the K st (to the left). Same thing as doing a BO.

Slip it over the st you just knit and let it drop. If you look at the video on the Glossary page for SKP (slip, knit, pass) it will show you how it’s done.

PSSO= slip 1 stitch (purwise, unless it states otherwise) knit 1 then take the slip stitch (that is now on the right needle)and 'pass" it over the knit stitch. Like a bind off.

Actually, when the slip stitch is part of a decrease like this one, slip it knitwise or it will be twisted at the base.
