Any suggestions? Won’t it take MORE than 12 steps?
Program for knitting/yarn addiction
Do you really want to quit?
The only programs I know of for yarn are to limit, not eliminate, sorry!
We are all enablers here. Sorry!
Here’s a program for yarn addiction: Go into your LYS and fondle all the alpaca and merino they have. If you don’t have a good LYS, visit any other store that sells yarn and spend at least ten to fifteen minutes cuddling the softest, cushiest baby yarn you can find.
Oh, wait. You want to stop being addicted? Sorry, can’t help you there.
That’s what I’m wondering, too! I mean…wow…
Quit knitting? I’m sorry, I just don’t understand what that means? Is that in Greek?
There is actually a cure for yarn addiction. It requires emptying your house of all yarn and knitting related material. I’ll pm you with my address if you’re interested in The Cure.
Hmmm QUITKNIT. QUIT KNIT?? That is obviously NOT ENGLISH!!
Hmmm, a 12 step program? I think Ingrid has one its called “Yarn of the month club.”
:rofling:
:roflhard: It’s amazing how I’ve added to my stash in the process of selecting yarn for my current WIP plus the poncho project planned after that is completed. A little more explanation for my current project can be seen in the blog I just started.
Hm yes yes. Like Ingrid said, there is a cure for this.
LOL.
I just got it Ingrid!
I’m slow tonight. <giggle> oh, good one.
:roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard:
I’m with you Ingrid.
Actually, I think you’d better talk to ME about The Cure. Ingy has MUCH too much to do, what with being a super TA, and posting 88 tims on LH each day… and her grandkids, and all of the knitting she does… She just doesn’t have time to help with your yarn problem.
HILDIE on the other hand, has LOTS of time
