k5, p1, p in front and back next stitch, k2 *p11, k2, p1, p in front and back, k2 rep from * to last 3 stitches, k3 - 139 stitches
As I approach the end of the row after repeating the sequence between * and * I end up more than 3 stitches at the end and not enough stitches to complete another * and * sequence. Am I interpreting the last part of these instructions correctly - complete the * and * sequence to the last 3 stitches which I then knit?
Do you have 139 sts at the end of the row? Are you over or short? Are you doing the pfb correctly? This should work, you’re doing 7 of the 18 st repeats between *s. Maybe you should put a marker between the st repeats so you can tell where you’re going off sooner.
Thanks! I got it working. I must have left out a few stitches here and there as I repeated the sequence. I used a different strand to indicate where I started a new sequence so I could verify the number of stitches I completed. Thanks for your help.
