I am working on this pattern at the moment doing my first sleeve and I have been increasing every 5th and 8th then go back to 0 with my stitch counter. Do i need to be increasing 5th 8th 10th 15th 16th or continue doing what im doing 5th 8th …0 5th 8th

Increase at each end of the 5th row and then only dec every 8th row. So dec on rows 5,13,21,29,37, etc until you get to the given stitch number
when you say dec do you mean inc?
Also would that no mean that the sleeve is really really long?
Yes, sorry about that. I mean inc. (I’ve been working hat decreases lately and it seems to be all I think about.)
For the 1st and 2nd sizes that’s rows 5,13,21,29,27,45,53,61 and 69. It’s 2 increases on each inc row. That doesn’t seem so many for an adult sweater but it depends on the row gauge.

I understand the numbers now but why is it 2 increases per row? sorry where on the pattern can I read that?
