As I was buying more yarn over the net I came across a poll on that site so I thought of you guys.
Which yarn do you like knitting with the best. Mine is Aran cos it’s quick.
Do you mean brand or weight…
if it is weight…I love sock yarn…just something really neat about sock yarn!
Brand…there are too many to pick from winks
And always something new to drool over!
I like soft yarn. Brand isn’t a requirement but only softness is!
I prefer working with worsted or DK. Sock yarn is gorgeous, but I can’t imagine knitting a sweater in fingering weight. At least right now…maybe someday. :teehee:
If I could only knit with one wool for the rest of my life, it would have to be merino–so squishy and soft.
However, as long as it’s soft and pretty, I’m game.
I’m flexible as far as the content of the yarn, as far as the weight I prefer sock or fingering weight. I find I don’t get much wear out of heavier weight clothing.
