What happened in Omaha? I do not live in America right now, so I do not get American news. Please fill me in.

Hi Joanne, a 19 y.o. gunman opened fire in a mall in Omaha Nebraska, killing 8 people, and wounding 5 before killing himself. Here’s a link if you can open it, with more information.

What a horibble tragedy to happen. My thought go out to the family and friends of the victims and everyone involved.

Ditto! :pray: :heart: So sad for the victims and their families and friends. Murdered while just going about their lives.

And so sad that a 19 y.o. person was so distraught that he wanted to take his own life and so disturbed as to want to take the lives of others when he did it just so he’d be “famous”. :cry:

My DD and I went to our mall last night, I couldn’t help but think about the people in Omaha. The families will be in my thoughts and prayers all through Christmas, and beyond.
