I’m just starting the IVF process and my RE just called to tell me that my thyroid was a little bit low. I’m scared to death that this will mean that the whole process will be delayed.
Please pray that I’m just a teensy bit low and that it can be treated without delaying my IVF…

Low thyroid can cause infertility, and treating it is almost always quick and easy. I sent up prayers for good health and as many happy, healthy babies as you want!

Yep, and my first fertility doctor (reproductive ENDOCRINOLOGIST) didn’t ever bother to test my thyroid! Needless to say, I had a miscarriage from the IVF he did. And he has about 18K of my money…Where does he get off not testing that? !!!
I’m now waiting on a phone call from the NEW doctor’s office, letting me know how they’re going to handle the low thyroid; please keep praying that we can proceed as planned with the IVF. I’m having one of those days where I’m scared to death I’ll never be able to have a baby.
