I just completed IVF, trying to have my first baby, after a miscarriage this past summer. I find out next Saturday if it worked.
I just turned 43 and although my numbers (FSH and so forth) are good, the odds are still pretty heavy against me.
Asking for continued prayers as the upcoming week moves along so slowly before I find out whether it’s a yay or a nay.

I do know what you are going through. I myself am unable to conceive naturally. So I do know your anxiety/pain. I’m only beginning to talk about this with another person whom I work with who is having trouble conceiving as well. Just know that there are people here who will be here to listen and to talk to when things seem like there are at their lowest.

I’m only starting to plan out when DH and I want to try, I am only 23 but I feel the pull of motherhood stronger every day. The thought of any mother not getting to have her baby makes my heart break.

Boo1, claim the baby. Tell God and yourself that you are pregnant and what the sex is.
My friend had IVF on May 16, 2007. I called after the procedure and ask if they were pregnant. Her DH’s comment was “well we had the procedure and now we wait.” I told him that he was wrong. The correct answer was, “Yes, we are pregnant and it is a boy.” Well, since he did not claim it right way, they are now having two girls.
Start thinking about names. I believe if we pray and tell God want we want, God will provide. You are not to old, Sarah had her’s when she was over 100 years, so you are just a baby in the eyes of God.
