I am knitting a popcorn baby blanket. Quite honestly it absolutely does not look like the picture. It is a 4 row repeat and I just don’t see it.
Can you share a link to the pattern and a picture of your knitting? It will make it easier to help.

I also note that row2 and 4 are different on purpose. They make the checkerboard offset between popcorn bumps.
Popcorn, trinity, or raspberry stitch, by any other name it looks like the same stitch to me.
