My first pair of socks was for my father, who was born a week before Christmas. He got… one sock for his birthday and the other sock for Christmas!

I read your blog and actually knitted my first pair of socks out of Caron Simply Soft too! But I used wrong size needles and they came out a little too big.
But it is great to use stash yarn to practice.
Can’t wait to see some sock yarn socks, I am sure you will be addicted shortly.
