Happy Knitting!
I’ve started two beanies (same one two times) but messed up bad enough to rip it out. I’ll get there one of these days. I promised my dd the beanie by the end of March 2008 so I can only delay till Jan/Feb 2008.

I’ve made about 10 baby hats for a local project. I’ve donated three other hats to charity. I’ve made 2 for my dad. 2 for neices and nephews. One is on my needles now. I think that is it.
I have been knitting for years and until last year I never made a hat. But I tried one and loved the way it turned out, plus it was fast and easy so I made a couple more as Xmas gifts last year.
This year, I am making hats and matching scarves for some of the people that work for me and I think they will really like them. I have a bunch done already.
I got this beautiful yarn at Rhinebeck a few weeks ago and the person gave me this great pattern for a scarf with the purchase of the yarn. I wanted to try and figure out how to make a hat to match and pulled out some of my knitting books. In the first one I looked through I found a hat pattern with the same stitch as the scarf pattern! I cannot believe how great they look together.
I’ve probably made a couple dozen overall. And all in the round…no seams for me!
I’ve knit tons of hats. Maybe 50 over the years. I think hats are cool and just love knitting them. My biggest problem is that I live in an area of the country where it isn’t warm enough long enough to properly wear all the hats I’ve knit and I tend to grab the same 2 or 3 hats everytime I walk out the door.
I haven’t knit any hats yet. I have wanted to start one to match my recently finished scarf. But I haven’t found the time to do it yet. Hopefully I will make one before this winter is over.
Lucky! My pattern has a seam in it! Ahhhhhh!
I can’t remember the exact number, but I know I’ve done several baby hats for my DD and a few other baby’s born in the past few years, a few hats for DH, at least 3 for me, at least 6 for each of my boys.
I’ve made close to 20 hats in the year I’ve been knitting. Also all in the round.
I like making hats. Which is kind of odd since I never wear hats.
My knitting group in Memphis dubbed me the Hat Queen. I’ve always got a hat on the needles. I can’t count the number I’ve done, honestly. I love making hats. All in the round, though; I hate seaming.
They’re a fantastic charity knit, for one thing. No matter how many I churn out, there are always people who need hats.
