When working on dpns in the round, and the directions say to pm and join, how do I keep the marker from slipping off the end of the dpn?
If the question doesn’t make sense, please ask for clarification, because I would really like to solve this problem.
Thanks a bunch. This forum is wonderful.

Once you place the marker knit a couple of stitches from the next needle onto that one before using your free DPN, this will stop your marker from slipping off.
That’s what I figured. I wanted to make sure I wouldn’t be messing up the pattern or anything by doing this.
Thanks!

You won’t mess up the pattern because the marker denotes the beginning and end of the round so you should be fine.
Happy knitting!
