Plymouth Yarns Pima Rino

Hello everyone this is my first post so thanks for the help in advance. I made a sweater for my grandson in Pima Rino yarn which is Peruvian pima cotton 70% and fine merino wool 30%. He is always cold but runs hot if that makes any sense(he’s 4 years old so that might make more sense). I blocked it and it then ran it through the wash on gentle to see how it did. I think though he will wear it a lot and his mom is wondering what cycle is realisitc for everyday use? She isn’t a knitter, btw. Any suggestions.

The yarn company recommends machine wash gentle, tumble dry low for this superwash yarn. It would be good to place the sweater in a bag for machine washing.
It probably won’t need washing that often (even on a 4 year old).
What fun to have a grandchild to knit for.
