I really need help! I have the book Sasha Kagan’s Country Inspirations and I want to make a sweater from her book…actually a LOT of her sweaters I want to make. But I have NO idea how to figure out how much yarn I need for any of them.
Here is what one sweater calls for:
2 x 50 g Catkin Fine cotton chenille
2 x 50 g Willow fine cotton Chenille
5 g Pale yellow lightweight DK
50 g Mustard wool/silk
25 g Peach lightweight DK
2 x 50 g Apricot wool/silk
6 x 50 g Apple wool/silk
She is from the Uk and I really have NO idea how to figure out how much of each color I need. I understand what DK weigh is but when it says 50 g that doesn’t tell me how many yards etc.
Can anyone help me? Thanks so much!!
When I have patterns like this, I go to www.yarndex.com and look up the yarns to see how many yards is equal to the number of grams.
