Please help us confused

I’m knitting a baby cardigian the pattern tells me to dec 1 st at each end of next and 2 foll 6th rows does anyone know what these mean please x

Decrease at the ends of the next row, then work 5 rows, decrease again, work another 5 rows and decrease on the next row again.

Thank u for your help it now says… work 1 row ending after heart motif chart row 16 and with a was row. Do u know what that means I’m an experienced knitter but this pattern is very hard to follow x

Do you mean “end with a WS row”? I think either some of your post was autocorrected or there’s spelling errors in the pattern  but I’m assuming it means end on a purl row - but it does seem to imply 2 end rows here.
I think someone may have forgotten to proofread it!

Yes sorry that was a auto correct on my phone it dont really make much sence I dont understand this one it says dec 1st at beg of next [ 3rd: next 3rd] and 1 foll 6th rows.
This pattern is so hard to follow x

Unless it’s referring to different sizes in the square brackets I don’t think I can interpret it any better than you, I’m afraid. It does sound very awkwardly written!

Shintoga is correct. The pattern is written for different sizes. Which size are you making, the first, 2nd or 3rd?
Or are there 4 sizes:
dec 1st at beg of next [ 3rd: next: 3rd] and 1 foll 6th rows?

Yes they are different sizes I’m doing the first size!
I’ve uploaded a picture if anyone can look and maybe help I’d appreciate it x15976909098165117956224493223252|900x1200

Call the next row, row 1. Then decrease at the beginning of row 1 and row 7.
