Call the next row, row 1. Then for the smallest size you would dec at each end of rows 1,3,5 and 7. The one following 4th row would be row 11.
What is the name of your pattern and designer? Which size are you making, first, second, third, etc?
I’m doing the first size, it’s a sienna children’s cardigan from a MakerCo winter knits book (pic attached)
