Picture to pattern

Hi all,
I ran across this really cool picture of a swatch that I want to utilize for a scarf. Unfortunately, it is on a site that hasn’t been updated in a couple of years and there isn’t a pattern.
I’m a fairly novice knitter so I don’t know how to look at the picture and determine the pattern.
I have looked EVERYWHERE for the same pattern but have not been able to find it.

Is there a simple way to decipher it?

suggestions/advice?

Thanks!

If you have a link to the picture, one of us may be able to read the stitches.

That would be great, thanks!
I’ll retrieve it from my other computer and post it.

The one I am interested in is the Square Check Pattern.
It’s sixth down the page.

Thanks for any help offered!

Okay, you’ll have to play around with this one a bit. There’s a couple rows of stockinette, k on RS, p on WS, then I’ll give it by Rows -

1 - k2, p6 all across ending with the knit 2.
2 and all WS rows are k the knits and purl the purls
3 and 5 - k2 p2, k4, p2 and repeat, ending with k2.
7 - repeat R 1
9 - knit all sts
10 - p all sts.

Hope that works for you.

Thanks so much!
I’m going to try it out right away!
Very excited!:woohoo:
