:help: I am so confused on this. Are you actually picking up stitches you’ve already knitted or just making new ones so you can continue your project?? I have passed by so many patterns as soon as I saw “pick up and knit” LOL
You are making new stitches so you can continue the project … I would check the video provided at this site and you’ll be pleasantly surprised how easy it will be for you to learn a new process.
Oh my gosh! I’m so glad to hear someone else skipped projects because of picking up stitches!! I finally learned how when I started knitting some socks and was halfway into the project and was forced to pick up stitches or abandon my beautiful socks!!! It’s so easy! You will laugh so hard when you realize what a “no big deal” thing it really is!!!
Thank you so much for your input!!! I think I’ve found my dream site. I’m going to try a small baby sweater and practice picking up stitches unless you can think of a project that’s better. Again, thanks for the clarification.
