Has anyone ever picked up the stitches on two knitted pieces and then used the 3 needle join to finish? If so, how did it work out?
I have done that. There is a sort of dent at the seam, but it doesn’t look too bad–at least it’s nice and straight.
Mattress stitch works very well, too.
