here I am again. some day all this will click and I’ll see the light. til then I can always count on you (that is in the light). I’m making these baby moccasins(from baby knits two book) and after I knit the sole it says to use 3dpn, beg at heel end, pick up and knit 36 sts from the RS, having 12sts on each of the 3 needles.join and pm for beg of rnd. am I to knit each st as I pick it up or do I go around and pick all up 1st then knit? “Pick up and knit” is another way of saying “pick up” – you don’t need to do extra knitting. There’s a video at http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/basic_techniques/misc.php under “Assorted Topics”, if you need it.
