I’m assuming you know how to pick up stitches? If not, Amy has good video on it.
In this case you pick up 3 stitches, skip one. No, you won’t get gaps. I’m assuming that you’re picking up a button band or something similar. If you picked up on every row, it would sag, because vertical and horizontal stitches are not the same size.
thank you i have been trying to find this out for a long time this pattern was in a beginer book but never explained it it is an edge of a dog sweaters and yes i know how to pick up stitches and thank you so so munch for making it simple i love this site
