Had a day off yesterday so after my mammogram, I went to the LYS here in town. I was all set to look at new needles, patterns, yarn and buy a little something to support them and sit and knit for a while. Well, they were closed for no apparent reason. :think:

Then I headed off for a book store and Micheal’s. I bought the Simply Knitting magazine thinking of the adorable tooth fairy that Rita F/O the other day. Wouldn’t you know that it was June’s issue instead of July? It only has one or two patterns that I might consider and no patterns for one piece knits.

Not my day yesterday for knitting…:wall:

Isn’t that annoying? That happened to me a couple weeks ago- I went to my LYS with my aunt, who came to visit JUST to go there and they were closed for no apparent reason. The summer hours were up and said they should be open. We went back 3 times that day and nothing. I should have called!

Oh bummer. That is irratating.

My lys doesn’t carry anything but red heart and at last check they had 4 rolls of Moda Dea something arather. (It was fuzzy)… That is a bummer. I am buying most of my yarns online now, cause it is a hour and a half to get to the nearest YS.
