Peter Pan P1050 cable instructions

Hi, newbie here, very long time knitter but the cabling instructions in this toddler’s cardigan pattern Peter Pan P1050 have me foxed.
The pattern says Cr2R but in the abbreviations it says Cr2R(L). I’ve checked the entire pattern and Cr2R(L) isn’t to be found. I’m starting on the back section and I wondered if it meant that from Rt to Lt the cable went one way then past the midline it went Lt to Rt.
Can anyone shed any light on this? Many thanks

Welcome to KH!
Maybe this pattern?

That is odd. Does the list of abbreviations define it as a cross to the Right and then in parentheses define the cross Left? or does it just define the cross Right?

I think you can do either or as you suggest for the back, cross in one direction before the center line and in the other direction after the center line.

No, it doesn’t define either direction. I’ve decided to do another, simpler cable pattern because I need this cardigan finished quickly! Thanks for trying to help anyway :slightly_smiling_face::slightly_smiling_face:
