Pedi sock pattern

Me Again,

This time I’m looking for a pedi-sock pattern. First, I should say that I’ve done two attempts to make one from a book called “Toe Up Techniques” and I feel like the pattern is very poorly written. I can’t figure out how to join the big toe section to the other toe section based on the instructions. These socks are very cute and they only come to the middle of the foot (arch). I don’t want an entire sock. I do like the toe area, because there is a split between the big toe and the other four toes. Hopefully, I’ve given enough information so you can tell what I’m looking for. I’ve looked all over the internet this morning and all the patterns are the same, ribbing around the toe area and it’s a full-length sock, and they’re all knit from the ribbing down.

Look for a full length sock pattern from the toes up, with the toes separate and end it where you want. I think there’s a couple for ‘tabi’ socks that would be more like want you want. A pedi sock usually has no toes so it may be harder find one with toes.

Check on Knitpicks website for patterns. I just saw some yesterday in their new April catalog that was snail mailed to me. Pedi socks were from a book called Knitted Socks East and WEst by Judy Sumner. I recall seeing flip flop socks with the big toe separate as well.:woohoo: :woohoo:
