I am going to share a recipe I just got with you!
It’s a long story, but to compact it somewhat… We have a trailer up north. There is a small general store not far from there. We go there a lot. They have a section that has fresh baked goodies and sometimes they have these squares that are to die for! DH has always called them “Sex” (yes, they are that good).
A few nights ago DH worked the night shift (he drives a street car). A woman got on the car and she had just been to a church function. They got talking, because she was the only one on the car, and she gave him a square that was left over from this function. His eyes lit up. He asked her if she had made them. She said yes. Then he begged her to e-mail him the recipe, which she did the next day.
When we finished eating the pan of squares (or having sex as he called it) we wrote her a thankyou e-mail. I still have no idea what they are really called but if you like peanut butter, you’ll love these.
Here’s the recipe:
In a medium pan, melt one quarter of a cup of HARD (must be hard because it has to firm up again in the fridge) margarine and one half a cup of peanut butter. When they are melted and smooth, pour in one cup of butterscotch chips and stir until they are completely melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove from heat. When the mixture is cool enough that you can touch the bottom of the pan without burning your finger, pour in two cups of coloured miniature marshmallows and stir until completely coated. Press mixture into a buttered 9X9 square baking dish and refrigerate for several hours until squares are firm and cold. Cut into squares. Keep refrigerated until serving. Enjoy!!! :woohoo:
