Peaches & Creme

You all may already know this but did you know that you can purchase peaches & creme cotton directly from their web site? (http://www.elmore-pisgah.com/).
I was looking at some on ebay and wanted to check the “retail” price. I discovered the peaches-creme website. Their price was MUCH less than the ebay price, AND they have significant sales. The shipping was reasonable as well.

I know this is sold in some “Wal-Mart” type stores and I don’t know how the online price compares to the store price but I am very busy and don’t have time to shop (it would cut into my knitting time).

Ooh! It looks like they ship over to the UK as well! Thanks for the link

I’ve ordered from the online site, and I will say that I was very impressed with the speed of service.

What is nice is that they have kits that go along with the Mason Dixon books too. They have different sizes of skeins too…such as the large cones. I made a rug from the MD book, and I ordered three of the cones from the internet. They were delivered very quickly, and before too long, I had my rug!

Thanks Nathalie, I placed an order last Fri and wondered how their customer service was. I received a shippping notice that my package should arrive UPS tomorrow. I thought that was pretty darn fast!

I just LOVE places that send you a tracking number so you know just WHNEN your goodies will arrive:happydance:

Woo, they do ship to the UK, I’ve always wanted to try this. But their shipping costs are expensive, and I’ve been stung ordering from the states before :frowning: I ordered 6 skeins of Seasilk and, on top of the shipping and so on, also got a £20 ($40) customs charge :frowning:

oooh, I luv all zee beau-ti-ful COLors!! LOL.

How can you choose?! :teehee:

You don’t. Just order one of everything.

Best of all, the color selection is much better at their website than at Walmart.

I’ve ordered from them–they rock! What all have y’all made this other than dishrags and potholders? Just curious.

I’m thinking of oredering from them too. I want to make my DH the Anniversary sweater from knitty.com. And maybe I’ll try some dishcloths or a rug or just make baby gifts with that.

I’m making baby bibs, burp cloths and even baby blankets. The yarn is easily washable and can be dried in the drier which makes it perfect for baby “stuff”.

Thank you, I had no idea! The price in Walmart is $1.62, you can get a lot more for a lot less on this site. Not to mention all the color choices.

Huh, that’s funny, at my Walmart they charge $1.27 a ball, which is the same price online (well, when the $5.08 is divided by 4 balls anyway). The website does have a wonderful color selection though!
