Pattern

Hello,
I have a pattern which says Dk to worsted weight yarn.It says pattern was made with hand dyed kd/lt. It says to use a size US 7 or 8 needles or my preferred needle size for working with dk/worsted weight yarn. Does this mean I should use 2 strands of yarn? It is for a Garter Rib Baby Blanket.

No it means use either/or. Dk and light worsted are pretty close so they could use the same needles and get about the same gauge. For a blanket, it’s not a big thing to use one or the other.
