I am a new knitter and saw this sweater pattern I thought would be good for a first clothing piece. Here is the pattern:
This sweater is knitted in St st. Won’t that make the sweater curl? Also, how do you set in sleeves? Any good websites or help with that would be appreciated!

Stockinette stitch on a sweater won’t curl like a scarf because the edges are seamed together.

Thank you for the reply, but, this may seem a dumb question, won’t the bottom curl? Also, does anyone have any pointers on how to set in sleeves?

The edge probably does roll up–it’s a feature of many sweaters. If you don’t want the rolled edge, you can add ribbing.
