Pattern Question

Hi,

I’m still working on my throw and I have a question that I hope some one can answer. Once again, here is my pattern:

Here is my pattern:

Row 1: knit (and all RS rows)
Row 2: Ssk, *k31, S2KP2; rep from *, end last rep with k2tog - 129 sts rem.
Row 4: Ssk, *k29, S2Kp2; rep from *, end last rep with k2tog - 121 sts rem. Break color A. Cont in this manner for a total of 32 rows, dec 8 sts on WS rows and working 2 sts fewer between decs - 9 sts rem at the end of Row 32. AT THE SAME TIME, change colors as follows:

Rows 5-10: Color B
Rows 11-16: Color C
Rows 17-22: Color D
Rows 23-32: Color E

My question is when the pattern says to "cont in this manner for a total of 32 rows, does it mean that for row 6 I would Ssk, and then knit27??? or do I do the same as row 2 and knit 31? The reason I am asking is because I have been knitting 31, then 29, then 31, then 29 for the rows, but my my project is turing out round. So I started thinking that maybe I’m supposed to knit 31, then 29, then 27, then 25 etc.

What do you think??

Thank you!

I think you should have 2 fewer each time, too. You have to get down to 9 stitches by the end of the 32 rows.
