Pattern Question

I am making the Knitting Pure & Simple Neck Down Hooded Tunic for Women. I am following along and now it says: “continue to work the last 2 rows for 4 ins, ending after working a p row.”

Does that mean 4 inches, including the part I had already knitted - which is about an inch? Otherwise I don’t know how I would measure just the last four inches? This is probably one of those things that I’m thinking too hard about; right? :oo:

Knit the 2 rows until my piece meausre 4 inches? I wish they had said it that way if that’s what they mean.

I would do the following as you wrote it and end with a purl row

" Knit the 2 rows until my piece meausre 4 inches?"

Thank you!
