Pattern question

I have just finished making a poncho for myself, the first thing I have managed to knit, as I am a beginner. It took me a week to do it but finally I finished. I only have the pattern in adult size and my 3 year old daughter loves it. I’ve got enough yarn left over to make another one but I thought I would make it for my daughter. My problem is I don’t know how to convert it into a 3 year old size.
I will post the pattern here and if anyone could tell me how to convert it I would really appreciate it.
Pattern: Cast on 96 stitiches loosely
1st row knit
2nd row knit
3rd row knit wrapping yarn around needle twice, repeat to end
4th row knit to end dropping extra loop

Repeat these 4 rows 14 times then repeat 1st and 2nd rows once-cast off loosely.

I will post a pic if I can work out how to do it.

I would just determine how big I want it to be and use the adult size as a gauge to measure how many stitches and rows would accomplish that size. With a child’s poncho, I would think that you could be rather flexible.
