Pattern question

I am working the back and at the point where I am supposed to work
side seam decreases. Pattern describes Rows 1, 2, 3 and then suggests
pattern repeats. The previous pattern consisted of 2 rows. I am
confused as to what the pattern is…Please see uploaded photo.

Many thanks in advance-

@nhatvoone, the photo didn’t upload. Can you tell us the name of the pattern or give us a link to the pattern?
Does the new 4 row pattern resemble the old 2 row pattern except that it contains a decrease row?

I can’t see any pictures/attachments, but from past history I’ve found there are two a seeds.

  1. You just knit the 3rd row for the complete decrease, or
  2. You use row 1 of the pattern for the 3rd row.
If your pattern has you continue the “3 row” pattern, remember that the even numbered to e you STIL! FOLLOW YOUR REGULAR 2-ROW PATTERN only inverting the rows – following?ow Row 2 AND THEN Row 1. Essentially, you are now simply following 2 PATTERNS AT ONCE.

It’s easy, don’t worry about it ,-- it all works out fine!
