Pattern question

So I’ve started a sweater, and things are going along just fine, until I came to this part:

Next row (RS) (dec): K3, K2tog, K to last 5 sts, K2tog tbl, K3. (110 sts)

working all decs as set by last row, cont in st st, dec 1 st at each end of every foll 6th row until there are 96 sts.

I get the first part- it’s the part that starts with “working all decs…” that I don’t understand. What do they mean by working all decs as set by last row? Am I just supposed to K2tog at each end of every 6th row 14 times?

It just means that you will do all decrease rows (which in this case is every 6th row) in the same manner as the one that is written out for you. You will do this until 96 stitches remain.

I still don’t get it- if I am to do the same for all decrease rows (every 6th row), what do they mean by decrease 1 st at each end of every foll 6th row? The dec row that I did was K3, Ktog, K to last 5 sts, Ktog tbl, K3. Where does the 1 st at each end of every foll 6th row come in? Sorry if I sound dense- maybe I just need to go to bed!! :??

The decrease one stitch at each end is the result of the decreases as they’re spelled out.

Thanks…okay, I am going to bed now…no more knitting for me tonight!!!
