Pattern problem

sentence that I do not get is Beg at neck edge work other side to correspond reversing shaping.

it is a baby surplice; back is pretty straight forward and same for sleeves until: "bind off 30 sts beg next row, inc 1 st at end. continue increasing at neck edge every row until ther are 45 sts on needle. work even until front measure same as back. Bind off. OK I understand up to here. now Beg at neck edge work “other side” to correspond reversing shaping. WORK OTHER SIDE TO CORRESPOND REVERSING SHAPING. my brain just does not grasp this.

then you sew underarm and side seams.
the photo shows the right side overlapping and you use ribbon ties on front and corresponding places at underarm seams.
would someone out there be able to help me?

When a pattern says to reverse the shaping, it usually works well to do the shaping beginning on the opposite side than the first side. That is, if you started the binding off with the right side facing you, then do the binding off with the wrong side facing you. Once that’s done, you can increase at the neck edge .
