Pattern mistake

I’m knitting a hat, and the pattern for the sides is k2tog, yo for 1 round then knit 1 round. I missed a yo on the last patterned round, and I don’t know how or if I can fix this. Can anyone suggest anything?

When you miss a yo, you can fix it on the next round by picking up the bar between the stitches. If you’ve knit the second round already, unknit back to the point where the yo is missing.

Pick up the bar between the stitches with your left tip from back to front and knit into the front of that loop. You’ll create an eyelet to match the other yo’s.
