Hi all,
I am making an afghan and I don’t understand the instructions; the first cable strip I did fine; the second cable strip tells you to do four rows; which are different from the 1st four rows of the 1st cable strip; then complete as for 1st cable strip. Now, the 1st cable strip says after row 4 to repeat row 1& 2; but if I repeat row 1&2 of 1st cable strip it does not match pattern of 2nd cable strip, but row 3&4 of 2nd cable strip does!! But if I do row 3&4 of 2nd cable strip, that pattern does not match row 7 of 1st cable strip, which is where I would be next; do you follow? I am totally lost. Can anybody help? If I knew how to upload the instructions, I would, so if anybody could tell me how to do that, I would. Please help, I am going crazy.

Can you post a link to the pattern, or post the directions exactly as they are written and I’ll try to help you figure it out.

I finally scanned part of the instructions; rt end cable strip is fine; it’s after I finished the 4th row of left end cable strip that I ran into trouble. I have tried all the options as far as which row to do next but the only one that seems to work is row 3 of left end cable strip and that can’t be right for the pattern. Hope somebody can make sense of this pattern.
