Working my first garmet a V-neck vest and do not understand instructions for neck divide. Would appreciate translation - I have 38 sts and need to get to 25 sts: dec 1 sts at armhole edge of next 2 rows, then on foll 3 alt rows,(I think i got it till here) then on 2 foll 4th rows and at same time dec 1 st at neck edge of 2nd and foll 6 alt ros, then on 0 foll 4th rows. 25 sts
Dec 1 st at neck edge only on 2nd and 7 foll 4th rows - 17 sts
row 1 - dec (arm)
row 2 - dec (arm)
row 3 - no dec
row 4 - dec(arm)
row 5 - no dec
row 6 - dec (arm)
row 7 - no dec
row 8 - dec (arm)

You would also dec on the neck edge on rows 2, 4 6, 8, 10 and 12.
