Pattern help!

I am trying to make the Heart blanket from fiber trends. The pattern has the following:
It has instructions to: repeat to last 21 sts, end k2tog, yo, k5, yo, ssk, k4, k2tog, yo, k5, slip-1.
BUT if you count those stitches, I get 24 stitches! I think it’s
K2 = 2
YO = 1
k5 = 5
yo = 1
ssk = 2
k4 = 4
k2tog = 2
yo = 1
k5 = 5
slip-1 = 1

and that gives 24 stitches rather than 21?

In another row it says repeat to last 22 stitches:
k2tog, yo, k7, yo, ssk, k10, slip-1 and that totals 24.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! THANKS!

You don’t count the YO as a stitch. It makes a stitch but doesn’t use up a stitch.
