Pattern Help

Please help me understand how to execute the second row of this pattern. I am just not figuring it out on my own.

1st row: (WS). K2. Purl to last 2 sts. K2.
2nd row: K2. *yfwd. K2. Pass yfwd over K2. Rep from * to last 2 sts. K2.
These two rows form the pattern.

Any help to understand this would be greatly appreciated so that I can work on this while we are snow/ice bound tomorrow here in Atlanta.

A yfwd is the same as a YO and here you pass it over the next 2 sts as if you had done a slip st.

K2,* yo, k2, pass yo over k2, repeat to last to sts and k2.

Thank you for explaining this to me. Had never seen it written this way before. Still took me a little bit of time & a hot shower this morning to have that ah ha moment of when I fully understood it.

Off to start the cowl & catch up on dvr’d shows while snowed in for today & possibly tomorrow.
