Hello, I’m hoping someone can help me quickly and easily with my pattern. I’m a novice knitter and currently attempting a dolls dress.
The pattern states
K1 (k2tog) 30 times, K1 (32 stitches)

I have 62 stitches currently.

Does this mean k1, k2tog, k1, K2Tog sequence.
Or
K1, K2tog, k2tog, k2tog sequence.

Confused!

Hello
It’s the information inside the (brackets) which is done the number of times given outside the bracket.
So
K1
Then k2tog 30 times
Then k1
The (32 stitches) at the end is how many stitches you will have after working the row.

Starting with 62 sts, there are 30 decreases
62 - 30 = 32

Don’t hesitate to ask again if you get stuck.
