Pattern help

Hello. Glad to join the forum. Hope someone can help.
I’m having trouble w my knitting pattern. I am knitting in the round. I need to w&t at the end of a row, but there is a marker. Do I w&t before or after the marker? My next question is, when I turn am I knitting the next row? I’ve tried that but I’m ending up at raglan markers not short row markers.

Welcome to KH!
What is the name of your pattern and designer?
Can you quote the directions exactly for us? Don’t give us a large portion of the pattern due to designer copyright, just a few rows is fine.
If you need to w&t at the end of the round, then work to one stitch before the end of round marker, then wrap the next stitch and turn. Most patterns call the row after the turn the next row or a new row.
Usually short rows to shape the back of neck are worked past raglan markers.

Thank you. The name of the pattern is Cafe Latte Sweater by Chie Miyagawa.
Row 8 p to raglan marker, s.l.m, k1, sl1yo, k1, s.l.m, p to short row marker 2.
This is where I run into the problem. I’ve made sure I’ve placed raglan and short row markers according to pattern. I can double check again.

So you have raglan markers and short row markers. Check the information before the pattern begins. Any text or list of abbreviations may help with how and when to work the short rows.
Is there a problem with working up to the short row marker, slipping the marker and wrapping and turning the next stitch? If there are other short row markers just be consistent with the way you work up to the marker and w&t. If the directions that follow have you knit x many sts past the marker, then just proceed that way.
