Pattern help

Im only on row 23 at the moment but I just wanted to clarify the next part. It says rows 1-24 set Oxo cable and 1-36 set twisted cable.commencing with row 13 and 1st of twisted cable cont till front measures etc. so does that mean that I knit from row 13-36 then repeat? Confused…

Sounds intriguing, all those fabulous cables. What is the name of your pattern and designer?
After row 36, continue with the pattern working from row 13 of the OXO cable and row 1 of the Twisted Cable. Work the OXO 13-36 and repeat. Work the Twisted Cable from rows 1-36 and repeat.
To be sure, it’ll help to have the name of the pattern and designer.

So does that mean just keep repeating 13-36 sorry so confusing the whole row

Yes, repeat 13-36 for the OXO cable. As best as I can tell, that’s what the OXO looks like.
The second photo is your knitting so far? It looks lovely.

Thank you once again I just wanted to check before I went for it :grinning:and thank you

Hello
When I have worked a pattern with different repeats I have found it useful to use 2 row counters and I noted down for example red counter is twisted cable, blue counter is OXO cable, at times putting a removable marker of corresponding colour into the fabric to mark the cable. (I bought extra counters in different colour for this sort of thing, handy).
If you don’t have row counters you could write the row numbers for each section and cross them off as you go.
I must admit I’d find it a bit tricky following this written pattern with the different start points, I’d prefer a chart.

I just wanted to say thank you again for your unfortunately I just couldn’t get it all. with Christmas coming nearer I didn’t have the time to keep pulling it apart. So I decided to change the cable pattern keeping some aspects of the original. I have now just the sleeves to complete and then I can send it for my grandson.
