I’m making a vest that has 3 different colored stripes of 8 rows each, 24 rows forming the pattern. The instructions state: Cont in striped rev st st, inc 1 st at each end of 5th and every foll 10th row until there are 96 sts.

I understand the increase at the 5th row but am unclear about the next instruction - every following 10th row. Does that mean to put the next increase at row 10 (row 2 of the second stripe) or at row 15 (5+10)?[/i]

You increase on the 5th row, and then every 10th row after that would be on row 15, row 25, row 35, etc. until you reach 96 stitches.
